Mr Nick Hancock is an international fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in Knee Surgery and Trauma. Within his specialty he has published numerous articles and trained other surgeons.
In his current position as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the University Hospitals of Southampton, Mr Hancock helps develop the latest surgical techniques and regularly teaches other surgeons in the UK and abroad.
As an expert in knee surgery, Mr Hancock is sent complex cases that require the benefit of the facilities of a major centre such as Southampton. Referrals have come from across the south of England, the Channel Islands and Europe. His field is arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery, ligament reconstruction, knee replacement and trauma related conditions. Particular attention is given to achieving excellent outcomes.
