Dr Steve Baynes provides consultations for a wide range of GP problems, for example: infections; ear, nose, and throat problems; aches and pains; and advice on other medical conditions. He has access to a wide network of colleagues to whom I can refer if needed.
Dr Baynes also offers Sports Medicine consultations and he aims to help you find a rapid accurate diagnosis to muscle, bone, or ligament injuries so that you can receive the right treatment from the start.

Mr Evan Davies is a UK fellowship-trained consultant spinal surgeon, treating children through to elderly patients. His practice involves the care of all forms of spinal medicine and surgery, including conditions affecting the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spines, discectomy surgery, treatment of spinal infection and spinal trauma surgery. Mr Davies utilises a multi-disciplinary approach working with physiotherapy, rehabilitation, pain management and radiology specialists. Professor David Warwick is a senior Hand Surgeon in Wessex. He is qualified with the European Diploma of Hand Surgery. He is based at University Hospital Southampton and at The Arches Physiotherapy Clinic in Lymington, UK. His teaching, research, and international reputation were rewarded by the University of Southampton with an Honorary Professorship in 2013. His NHS contribution has been rewarded with a Bronze Clinical Excellence award. David was President of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand in 2020, in recognition of his contribution to UK hand surgery he was awarded a Doctorate for his work on Dupuytren’s Disease.Â
In 2022 he became the Secretary General of the International Federation for Societies for Surgery of the Hand, a leading role in world hand surgery.Â

Mr Cole is a specialist, Fellowship trained shoulder surgeon. He offers a full range of the most up to date surgical techniques much of which is done arthroscopically (as keyhole surgery).

Mr Latham specialises in hip replacement, hip resurfacing and revision hip surgery. Having trained in Oxford, Adelaide and Birmingham, he has been a hip surgeon for 25 years.Â

Mr Nick Hancock is an international fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in Knee Surgery and Trauma. Within his specialty he has published numerous articles and trained other surgeons.
In his current position as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the University Hospitals of Southampton, Mr Hancock helps develop the latest surgical techniques and regularly teaches other surgeons in the UK and abroad.
As an expert in knee surgery, Mr Hancock is sent complex cases that require the benefit of the facilities of a major centre such as Southampton. Referrals have come from across the south of England, the Channel Islands and Europe. His field is arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery, ligament reconstruction, knee replacement and trauma related contitions. Particular attention is given to achieving excellent outcomes.
